Professional Learning Communities
A Professional Learning Community(PLC) is a collaborative group that promotes adult learning in order to improve teaching and increase students’ success in learning. Implementation of effective PLCs requires intentional and focused approaches to PLC structures and process. Specific workshops that build the capacity of teams to communicate, collaborate and learn in community.

Academic Standards
The Arizona Standards provide a consistent set of English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics expectations that prepare all students for college and career options. These researched-based standards are focused, clear and provide for rigorous content and application of knowledge through high-order thinking.  They are designed to ensure that our students remain competitive in the global market of the 21st century.

Foundations & Frameworks
Foundations and Frameworks exists to support the efficacy of educators in their work with students and as professionals in the field of K-12 education through effective professional development and coaching.  Specific areas of focus include: Marzano Instructional Strategies, content based instructional strategies, general pedagogy workshops, curriculum development, classroom management and support for classroom teachers.

Healthy & Safe Schools
Healthy and Safe Schools is an initiative designed to assist communities in creating, maintaining, and growing safe and supportive school cultures. Schools are provided with professional development, support, and resources focusing on the emotional, social and physical development of students and the direct link to increased student 
achievement. Educators are connected with local agencies and programs which address specific needs in these areas.

Systems Thinking in Education
STIE offers training and coaching in the effective application of systems thinking concepts, habits, and tools in classroom instruction and school improvement. In addition to having a clear vision and culture of team learning, school systems should embrace new ways of thinking and new ways of doing that create and nurture learning organizations.
